FREESGOSMA began as a gathering of local congregations wanting to honour the gospel artists already filling their halls every Sunday. It has grown into the province’s home for gospel excellence — a night where choirs, soloists and songwriters are celebrated in front of the communities that raised them.
Every category, every nomination and every winner reflects the same idea: gospel music in the Free State deserves a stage as big as its voice.

Terms and Conditions
Please read the following eligibility requirements carefully before submitting a nomination.
📋 Nomination Requirements
- 1. All artists, choirs, and songwriters must originate from the Free State province.
- 2. The submitted song or album must have been released in 2024. Any work released outside this year will not be eligible for consideration.
- 3. Each artist may choose only two (2) categories to enter. Please select your strongest categories wisely, as multiple entries across more than two categories will be disqualified.
- 4. All nominations must be submitted through the official nomination form. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
- 5. The judging panel’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of any category.
